I have just come across a free 40 minute webinar (normally $60) presented by Sue Larkey on Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder.  This webinar is available free until Monday 16 May 2016.  You can access the webinar from the link below:

You will need to set up a free profile to access the webinar but there is no payment required.

Make sure you have a spare piece of paper and pen with you before you enter the webinar.  There are also notes provided that you can print.

PD Announcement - The Singing Classroom

We are excited to announce another PD workshop opportunity.  These coming holidays the Shepparton CRT Support Network will be hosting aMuse's Sue Arney and The Singing Classroom!

The Singing Classroom workshops will:

  • Provide skills and resources for generalist teachers to enable more singing in the classroom
  • Build confidence in generalist primary teachers to sing with their students
  • Provide techniques to lift the profile of singing in schools and classrooms
  • Demonstrate ways of integrating singing into dedicated music sessions as well as into the general curriculum

Venue:  The Overlander Hotel/Motel, 97 Benalla Rd, Shepparton

Time: Tuesday 29 Septmeber 2015 - registration 9.45am - Workshop 10.00am to 3.30pm.


Cost:  $10 for CRTs, $50 for other teaching professionals.

Zart Art; Ideas and Product Presentation PD Opportunity

Zart Art are a company that specialise in Art activities and resources for teachers.  They had different workshops through out Victoria for teachers to attend.  They also hold free one and a half hour workshops.  Shepparton will host one of these workshops.
 'Our consultants visit schools and educational facilities assisting in product knowledge, curriculum advice, activities and updating on new materials and products.'

The Education Show 2010 - Melbourne

The Education Show 2010 will be held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August from 10am to 4pm at Caulfield Racecourse. The Education Show 2009 attracted over 4,000 educators.
