Good Rule of Thumb to follow if you are using lap tops in a class is the "45 RULE" (putting screens down to an angle of 45 degrees.)

** By the end of Grade 2 , students will know how to email, how to search the internet, how to format documents such as word, excel, power-point.

** By the end of Grade 4, students are publishing video tutorials etc., using email to gain information from a wide array of sources, and they are understanding how search engines work.

** By the end of Grade 6, students regularly publish material "online."

** By Secondary School, social tools including Face Book, My Space, Twitter etc are embedded into the Curriculum Program.
